Since opening the firm’s doors in 2007, Attorney Young has chaired hundreds of trials in a variety of legal areas, and has significant negotiation experience. Young has received multiple honors for her legal advocacy, even early in her career earning the prestigious award of Top Attorney from respected San Diego based Business Journal, the Daily Transcript, during the Journal’s 130-year publication run. Young has gone on to receive the honor as Best Attorney from trusted San Diego based newspapers Downtown News, Uptown News, and Gay San Diego year after year, spanning the last decade. She regularily provides insight into legal matters and developments impacting the community at-large.

Young has a deep committment to server her local community. Young has served on the Board of the Earl B. Gilliam Bar Association and non-profit Urban Pride San Diego and maintained memberships in multiple legal and business associations across San Diego County. She has received honors as Community Ambassador from Imperial Court de San Diego.

Rachel Young lives and works in San Diego, California. She spent much of her childhood in Eugene, Oregon. She earned Division 1 Basketball scholarship, and competed at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and East Carolina University, respectively. She graduated from East Carolina University in 2022, and studied law at California Western School of Law until graduating in December 2006. Attorney Young was admitted to the California Bar June 1, 2007. Attorney Young is a die hard University of Oregon Duck football fan. She enjoys traveling, San Diego’s beaches, fishing, landscaping and music. Young continues to play competitive baskeball locally, and participates in mentoring youth through coaching basketball at the high school level.
